Nandamuri Kalyan Ram New Movie 118 Review
Nandamuri Kalyan Ram teamed up with Cinematographer turned director KV Guhan for a thriller titled as 118. Shalini Pandey and Nivedha Thomas are the main female leads and Mahesh Koneru was bankrolled this film.
Television reporter Goutham (Kalyan Ram) was haunted by a dream in which a young lady on the verge of death appears in his dream. Goutham tries to add up the clues, reconstructs the scene to resolve what appears to be amurder mystery. His fiancee Megha (Shalini Pandey), Friend (Nivetha Thomas). A flashback reveals the victims and cluprits, how Goutham completes the formalities of taking the culprits to the justice.
Thrillers are the latest fan in Tollywood as this genre gives makers to experiment with limited budger. 118 movie trailers gave enough hint about the genre, the audience waited to see if this film was actually something different than run-of-the-mill thrillers.
The production values by East Coast productions led by Mahesh S Konery are good, casting is suitable. Kalyan Ram, Shalini Pandey and Nivetha Thomas was performed well in main lead roles.
Production values by Mahesh S Konery are top notch. The film looks rich in every frame and gives you that authentic feel of a good thriller. Special mention to the camera work as the film has been showcased in a very good manner.
Music by Shekhar Chandra was decent but his background score was even better. Dialogues by Mirchi Kiran are apt and suit the mood of this film. Kalyan Ram has been styled quite well in this film.

118 is an intriguing, different and nearly engaging thriller with lucid dreaming concept as the backdrop. First half is pretty good, Second half was its own reservations.
