Sharwanand New Movie Ranarangam Review
Sharwanand was always has been keen to take up interesting subjects. When a hero of his reputation teams with Sudheer Varma of Swamy Ra Ra and Keshava fame. Promos and Sound Track of Ranaragam built a positive talk.
Deva (Sharwanand), an orphan, gets into illegal Liquor Business when prohibition was implemented in AP in the 90s. That is when he enters into the bed books of Local MLA (Murali Sharma) who was operating the same illegal business. How Deva fought against all the odds to grow big forms rest of the tale!
Music by Prashanth Pillai was good as the songs are nicely set in the narrative. The background score also was very good and enhances the proceedings. The screenplay is where the film falters as the movie movies back and the forth in time and this part is addressed well in the first half.
Coming to director Sudheer Varma, he was done just an okay job with this film. His narration was good in the first half as he shows the rise of Sharwa and his romance with Kalyani in a good way.
Sharwa-Kalyani Love Track
Lack Of Importance For Kajal
Ranarangam is a routine gangster which does not have much going it’s way. Sharwa leads from the front and the first half was good romance and crime scenes. But the second half is where the film suffers as the lack of conflick point.
