Varun Tej New Movie Antariksham Review
Ghazi fame, Sankalp Reddy was back with a space thriller, Antariksham. The trailer which was released recently got a stupendous response from the viewers and took the expectations on the movie to a whole new level.
Dev(Varun Tej) gets a chance to complete the mission on the moon which ended up abruptly a few years ago. The consequences are just too big to ignore this mission and Dev tries his best to ensure that does not happen. He needs to complete his current mission first and then set his eyes on the previous one. Will he be able to complete both the missions successfully? If the process, What are the challenges that he had to face?
Sankalp Reddy deserve a pat on the back for picking a theme that was never been attempted in the Telugu film industry. His research and conviction are big assests to this film.
Varun Tej lloks apt as an astronaut. Aditi Rao was seen is a self-driven astronaut and she performs to the best of her capabilities. Satyadev and Shankar are good in their supporting roles.
New concept and Sankalp’s research work
VFX is okay to an extent
Too many loopholes in the script
Lack of engaging drama
No commerical elements
Antariksham is a first of its kind space thriller in Telugu which may not appeal to all section of the audience. Director Sankalp’s idea and research work are appreciatable but lack of proper depth is writing and loopholes in the script makes it a below average watch for this weekend.
