Vijay Deverakonda New Movie NOTA Review
Happening star, Vijay Devarakonda was making his Tamil debut with the bilingual NOTA. The political thriller was hit the screens today and let’s see whether it meets the expectations or not.
Varun (Vijay Deverakonda) was a spolit brat who was not interested in his corrupt father’s (Nasser) political life. His dad makes him the CM of the state for a temporary period. Varuun takes things on a silly note but a samll incident changes his mind and he becomes committed to his job which was not liked by his dad. Rest of the story is as to how Varun fights his father and finally continues as the CM of the state.
The main strength of the film was Vijay Deverakonda. Vijay was going shock to the fans with a differenet character in each film. All the film was directed to his shoulders. Compared to past films, the different look and character in the film was very good. Rowdy became a perfect suit in the role of CE.
A political drama is to say that choosing an actor like Vijay Deverakonda is an adventure. Vijay retained the trust of the producers of the director. He is the main stronger and leads in this film. Anand Shankar, who started movies with the introduction of the heroes of the movie.
Some relatable political drama of Tamil Nadu State
Weak Story, Insipid narration
Lack of any Entertainment
Very bland second half…
NOTA was a forgettable political drama with no noteworthy moments at any phase. It offers some relatable elements for Tamil audience, but for Telugu states no such saving grace. With no entertainment nor other commerical elements, overall this disappoints.
