Vishwak Sen New Movie Falaknuma Das Review
Falaknuma Das was very impressive. Around 10 Paid Premieres has been organised and such is the craze for this movie ahead of the release.
Das (Viswak Sen) is a happy go lucky youth in the area of Falaknuma, Hyderabad. He and his gang get into trouble all the time with silly fights. One fine day, they decide to settle fown and stat a meat-selling business. Das and his hot-blooded nature, the gang gets into deep trouble and as a result, Das was booked in a police case. Rest of the story is as to how Das being a low-class guy comes out of his troubles and settles down in life.
Vishwan Sen of Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi fame surprises everyone with performance in Falaknuma Das. He breathes life into the character of a Old City Youth and performed with utmost ease.
Uttej left a mark of his own in a movie after a long time. Tarun Bhaskar was very impressive.
Uttej, Tharun Bhasker
Background Score provided by Vivek Sagar was exceptional. Songs composed by him has been decent. Cinematography by Vidya Sagar was good. Director Vishwak Sen tried to leave his own mark on the remake. Dialgoues penned by him are nice.
A Film which attained cult statues or classic range in a language mayn’t necessarily create similar impact when it is remade. Falaknuma Das is the remake of Malayalam cult movie Angamaly Diaries.
Falaknuma Das is an intense and realistic crime drama which has a decent first half. Characters, performances are big assets. Second half is a let down as the film was clearly made for the masses and will only appeal to them.
